WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO DO ON A DAILY BASIS (TRAINING will be provided for all tasks)
-Arrange publishing and promotional schedules
-Book assessment and formatting
-Communication with authors, editors, proofreaders
-Handle newsletters to the author’s mailing list and website
-Great command of the ENGLISH language. You must have good writing communication skills.
-You absolutely MUST love reading literature!
-Have continuous access to a personal computer and HIGH-SPEED INTERNET connection.
-ABILITY TO PROBLEM SOLVE - not expect everything "ready for you". You must be someone who proactively looks for solutions to problems, even when you’re not assigned to fix certain problems. Training will be provided to you for most things you will need to do, but you MUST be willing and able to “Google” things up and figure them out on your own!
-CONSISTENCY in communication and following up with the rest of the team. You must be able to work under deadlines with high attention to detail.
-Excellent WORK ETHIC. You must be obsessed with learning, gaining new skills and mastering them. You must be performance/results driven, looking for a long-term position and not a short term gig for a few weeks/months.
-Finally, you absolutely must have GREAT time management and self-management skills
