The role of Junior Research Engineer (Optics, Physics) is to conduct research, analysis and development of the optical design for different sensors solutions and service subsystems of banknote and coin authentication and recycling systems.

Kiev R&D team consists of several specialists that cover different disciplines including but not limited to general physics, optics, electronics, maths and programming. Team is focused on moving forward CPI sensor technology and recognition techniques dedicated to improve our products capabilities to be aligned with the cutting edge requirements for detection of machine readable features. We are looking for the candidate with
Education — at least B.Sc. in EE/CS or equivalent, with relevant experience.
Good knowledge and erudition in the following category of physics disciplines: optics and lighting engineering, electronics, mechanics, electromagnetic phenomena, thermal phenomena.
Experience and knowledge of the metrology, instrumentation, techniques of physical measurements.
Experience in simulation using Zemax OpticStudio or similar software packages.
Experience in mechanical design using Solidworks or similar CAD system.
Practical skill in experimental and signal data processing with MatLab.
Experience in embedded systems, with emphasis on sensor technology, system control, image processing is appreciated.
